The parishioners of St. John’s Episcopal Church, in response to our baptismal covenant, are committed to helping others in our church family, our larger community, and the world. The Outreach Committee seeks to inspire and educate our parishioners regarding opportunities to live out their faith through service to others.

Our giving is not limited to designated funding. St. John’s continues to join other Tulsa Episcopal organizations in building one house/year for Habitat for Humanity. We also raise funds for other projects. and we actively collect goods for the various organizations we support and encourage volunteer involvement as well.
St. John’s supports the Millennium Development Goals, which have been agreed to by all the world’s countries and by the world’s leading development institutions. General Convention and the Diocese of Oklahoma have endorsed these goals as mission priorities. In 2009 our MDG monies were sent through BARHD to support building teacher housing at Kibingo Girl's School. 2010 MGD monies will purchase medicines and vaccines in 2011.
